SI Systems, one of the founding manufacturers of towline conveyor systems since 1966, has announced the formation of its Towline Conveyor Rejuvenate and Retrofit Program to help breathe new life and functionality into all towline conveyor systems regardless of their age and original manufacturer. SI Systems Towline Conveyor Rejuvenate and Retrofit Program run the gamut from towline conveyor audits and repair to system modifications, upgrades and expansions.

Over the years towline conveyors have been known by many names such as In-Floor Conveyor, Drag Conveyor, Lo-Tow®, Towveyor®, Shallo-Tow®, E’Tow®, Tow and Drag Lines, Flex-Tracker®, Low-Selec-Tow Systems®, TracVeyor® Systems, Chain-On-Edge Floor Conveyor®, Chain-On-Flat Conveyors (COF)® and more. Our Rejuvenate & Retrofit (R&R) Program is geared to understanding and cost-effectively solving issues restricting the conveyor system’s proper usage.

Because towline conveyor systems have often worked reliably for decades, the manufacturer they were purchased from may have gone out of business, stopped manufacturing them or dropped support. This has left in-house maintenance staffs to decipher and implement what they felt were best for the system.

Some of the most common aging towline conditions that our Towline Conveyor Rejuvenate and Retrofit Program can resolve is frequent jamming, down time, excessive wear and tear and even relocation. Likewise, the ability to expand the towline system, change the workflow, processes or products the system was originally designed to handle can be done efficiently and quickly.

Some of the common services our Towline Conveyor Rejuvenate & Retrofit (R&R) Program can provide include upgrading the controls to new PLC technology, replace motor starters with VFD, upgrade safety circuits, implement No-Fault-Forward (NFF) technology to dramatically improve quality manufacturing, replace worn towline chain, install new loop-to-loop transfers and so much more.

With one of the largest groups of Towline Conveyor engineers on staff in the world, SI Systems is uniquely able to understand the problems and create a solution which allows the towline to bring even greater value to its organization for decades to come.

The first step is to call the Rejuvenate & Retrofit (R&R) hotline at 610-559-4045 or email R& for a free phone assessment and evaluation to reclaim your towline conveyor’s top performance capabilities.

The following trademarks are owned by these organizations: Lo-Tow® by SI Systems – Towveyor® and Shallo-Tow® by Diafuku Webb – E’Tow® by Egimin – Flex-Tracker® by Webb-Stiles Co., – Low-Selec-Tow Systems® by ACCO Systems – TracVeyor®, Chain-On-Edge Floor Conveyor, and Chain-On-Flat Conveyors (COF)® by Southern Systems.
