Easton, PA, December 17, 2014: SI Systems, a subsidiary of Paragon Technologies, Inc., proudly announces the appointment of Ed Romaine as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Ed Romaine has spent over 30 years working with leading organizations who have been looking to optimize their warehousing, manufacturing and distribution center processes and boldly practices to improve bottom line business performance.

Ed Romaine has held top management positions for major industry leaders such as Kardex Remstar, White Systems, Integrated Systems Design (ISD) and his own advertising agency.

Within the industry trade association, Material Handling Institute (MHI), Ed Romaine has taken numerous leadership positions over his 17 year tenure. Ed Romaine is currently the Chairman of the Automated Storage & Retrieval (AS/RS) Group, and has in the past been Chairman of the Order Fulfillment Council (OFC) of America for seven years and also the Supply Chain Execution Group (SCE) for two years. Ed Romaine was also one of the originators of the Carousel and VLM Product Section Group and spearheaded efforts to create the first ANSI industry safety standards for horizontal carousels.

As a frequent editorial and information contributor to hundreds of publications, blogs and online publications, Ed Romaine has also been a guest speaker at numerous Supply Chain, Logistics, Lean and Facility organizations and functions.
